Building BrAve Teams Children’s Books

Building the BrAve Team and Building My BrAve Mind are children’s books I illustrated in collaboration with author Betsey Young.

The first story follows a young boy and his family through cancer diagnosis and treatment. Together they work with family, friends, community members, medical professionals, and even strangers to build an "A" Team of supporters. The second book follows a young girl’s mental health journey after cancer treatments have been completed.
